The peaceful village of Harbourneford lies within the stunning scenery of Dartmoor National Park, midway between South Brent and Buckfastleigh. Woodpecker, named after the Great Spotted Woodpecker that is often seen and heard nearby, is an attractive ground floor apartment and one of a small group of barn conversions. Inside, the property has an attractive kitchen, large bedroom and an en-suite shower room (there is one step up into the walk-in shower). Double doors open from the bedroom and lounge onto the front courtyard and a small patio with table and chairs. Safe storage is available for bicycles, and there is use of a washing machine and tumble dryer by arrangement with the owner who lives next door. There is a pottery in Harbourneford and for shops, pubs or restaurants both South Brent and Buckfastleigh are within two miles.

Nearest Coastline: The beautiful beaches and estuaries of the South Hams, including Blackpool Sands, Slapton Sands, Dartmouth and Salcombe.

Tourist Attractions: Buckfast Abbey and the Butterfly and Otter Sanctuary at Buckfastleigh. Dartmoor offers an amazing diversity of leisure activities such as hiking, cycling, climbing, bird watching, walking and horse riding.
