Buckfastleigh is a small, peaceful town on the edge of Dartmoor, where there are endless possibilities for walking; the famous Abbot's Way starts at Buckfast and the Two Moors Way and South Devon Millenium Trail pass through the outskirts of the town. Wisteria is just a few minutes' stroll from the attractive town centre, with its enticing narrow alleyways just waiting to be discovered. The farmers' market every Thursday offers a selection of local produce as well as a lovely, traditional atmosphere. Wisteria is a modern, end terrace house in a pretty courtyard setting. The cosy lounge has a contemporary feel with terracotta and blue soft furnishings and from which patio doors lead you to an enclosed, private courtyard. Upstairs, the main bedroom is bright and attractive and the second bedroom has been thoughtfully decorated with children in mind. Buckfastleigh is perfectly situated to explore this beautiful area of Devon. Nearby attractions include the Otter Sanctuary and Butterfly Farm and don't forget the famous South Devon Railway. A visit to historic Buckfast Abbey is a delightful experience. Pennywell Farm is within easy reach and will guarantee a fantastic family day out. Venturing further afield will take you to the sandy beaches at Torquay and Paignton, or for a real treat take a boat trip from Totnes along the River Dart to picturesque Dartmouth.
