Westward House is situated at the end of a row of
properties in a quiet residential area within walking distance of
the superb sand and pebble beach at Westward Ho! Stylishly furnished
throughout with the benefit of a large flat-screen television, Sky
channels and Wireless Broadband, Westward House offers good value
for families seeking a comfortable holiday home close to all
amenities. The property can also accommodate two couples, as the
twin beds can be zip-linked to form a 6ft double bed. Dining is in
the bright and airy conservatory, which leads to a small garden with
a patio and garden furniture where guests can enjoy a barbecue. The
garage, which is now home to a table tennis table, dartboard and
table football will keep the children (and grown-ups too!) occupied
for hours on end.
Stretching for two miles, the beach at Westward Ho!
is popular with locals and holidaymakers for water sports including
surfing, canoeing and kite surfing. At low tide youngsters can be
found eagerly exploring the many rock pools for hours on end. An
assortment of pubs, cafés and shops are also just 10-15 minutes walk
away and a bus stop is 100 yards from the house. Walkers and
cyclists can follow the famous Tarka Trail and nature lovers will
enjoy seeing a variety of birds, insects and wild flowers at Northam
Burrows Country Park. For an exciting day out whatever the weather,
the Big Sheep with outdoor and indoor activities should not be
missed. |
