Each one has been tastefully furnished to reflect its character and individuality. It is a peaceful location and yet within easy reach of some of the West Country's most spectacular coastal scenery with Sandymouth Bay just six miles away. To the north, the enchanting fishing village of Clovelly has a cluster of whitewashed cottages and a narrow high street paved with pebbles from the beach. Across the border into Cornwall, the wide, sandy beaches are bounded by the white topped Atlantic rollers, making it a paradise for surfers.

The Butler's Pantry is a cosy cottage adjoining the main manor house and has been designed with honeymooners in mind. A spiral staircase leads to the beamed bedroom, which has a pretty, laced draped four-poster bed and an en-suite bathroom. The open plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a woodburning stove making it an ideal retreat for two, whatever the time of year.

West Down House has a filtered spring water supply which is tested on an annual basis.

Swimming: There is a large, fenced, solar heated, outdoor swimming pool with a sun terrace, which is open May to September.
Gardens: You are free to use all the gardens surrounding the manor and the barbecue area.

Accommodation: Ground Floor: Lounge/Kitchen/Diner. First Floor: Bedroom with double four-poster bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin.
