Heralded as one of the main gateway towns to Dartmoor, Bovey Tracey is an excellent base from which to explore the stunning scenery, historic sights and a wealth of attractions that abound in this region of Devon. The town sits astride the River Bovey, beneath the rolling foothills leading up to the high moors, and is the headquarters for the Dartmoor National Park. As well as a good selection of shops and pubs the town is home to the internationally renowned Devon Guild of Craftsmen. The Guild is based in the grade II listed Riverside Mill with galleries, craft showrooms and The Terrace café. Local attractions include the Cardew Design Tea Pottery and the House of Marbles with glass blowing and a history of Bovey Pottery. There are numerous walking and cycling routes and the picturesque scenery of Dartmoor, which covers 365 square miles of natural beauty, with sheltered valleys, rugged moorlands, granite tors and cascading waterfalls all around. Dartmouth, Totnes, Dawlish and the towns of Torbay are within easy reach, with Plymouth and Exeter just a little further. The varied and spectacular South Devon coastline and beaches are about ten miles away. Brookfield and Westbrook are situated just outside the village centre, at the end of a short lane. They are in an elevated position with large private driveways, fully enclosed sloping gardens, fields to the rear and distant views of the moors. The properties and location are well suited for families or couples, who wish to explore this diverse and beautiful part of Devon.

Westbrook is a semi-detached bungalow, attached to Brookfield  but slightly different in design with a double bedroom and separate toilet on the lower ground floor. The spacious kitchen/diner and attractive lounge have far reaching country views. Sliding doors lead from the lounge to a small seating area, sloping lawn and a large driveway with views to the moors and the lovely, local village church. The use of pastel shades and pine furniture ensure the property feels bright, cheery and uncluttered.

Accommodation: Ground Floor: Lounge. Kitchen/Diner. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin. Lower Ground Floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed. Separate WC and washbasin.
