Welloe
Rock is rather special. This lovely, detached farmhouse with fabulous
uninterrupted sea views from the house and gardens was built in the 1800s
and retains much of its original character and charm. The expansive lawn is
bordered by low stone walls, fields and the narrow lane, which leads to the
beach at Rinsey Cove. A raised circular stone patio, with table and chairs,
makes the most of the panoramic views. Welloe Rock is ideal for family
gatherings and special occasions.
A
celebratory meal and a variety of interesting cookery classes are also
available, by prior arrangement with the owner. Guests are welcome to play
the piano in the spacious kitchen/diner, which has lovely garden views and
an open fire. The lounge has a woodburner providing extra warmth and
includes a small study with books. All the bedrooms are light and airy and
one of the bathrooms has far reaching views to Land’s End from the bath!
Outside, the GAMES ROOM has table tennis
and storage for wetsuits and water sports equipment. |

Nearest Coastline: Rinsey Cove is a short
walk away, the South West Coast path meanders past ancient engine
houses to the picturesque fishing harbour of Porthleven. Praa Sands
is excellent for surfing and water sports.
Tourist Attractions: St Michael’s Mount,
St Ives with the Tate Gallery and the Barbara Hepworth Museum. The
Eden Project and Land’s End.
