Turnbridge House is a very attractive, comfortable semi-detached property, set in two acres of grounds, conveniently situated just off one of the main routes from Glastonbury to the coast. The owner’s home is next door and guests staying at this lovely holiday home have access to a large orchard with a natural pond and numerous fruit trees from which they can take their pick of the crop. A summerhouse in the orchard offers a wonderfully secluded place just to sit and ponder or enjoy a barbecue on the veranda. Lawned gardens surround the house and a river runs alongside the boundary of the property, where herons and kingfishers can often be seen.

The farmhouse style kitchen, complete with a duel fuel range-style cooker is a cosy place for a family breakfast, whilst French doors lead to an exceptionally stylish and bright dining room. From both the dining room and the lounge, patio doors lead out onto the garden.

This wonderful part of Somerset, with its abundance of nature reserves, will appeal to nature lovers seeking a rural retreat.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Burnham, Berrow and Brean, Weston-super-Mare.

Tourist Attractions: Glastonbury Abbey and Tor, Cheddar Gorge and Caves. Shopping at Clarks Village at Street. National Nature Reserves at Ham Wall, Shapwick Heath and West Hay Moor – the best places to see the magnificent starling murmurations over the Somerset Levels.
