Tucked away in a quiet location in the coastal resort of Appledore, Tunnel House is an attractive, well-presented family home situated within 300 yards of the seafront, beach and promenade. With unusual access via a tunnel of whitewashed walls and pretty lights, this semi-detached Victorian house is arranged over three floors, with an enclosed patio and secure storage for bikes or water sports equipment. The lounge and bedrooms are comfortable and spacious, with pretty pictures, ornaments and colourful soft furnishings. The attractive galley-style kitchen has a small dining area best suited to informal dining, or guests may prefer to dine on the patio. There are sea views from the twin room where children will love the beds tucked under the eaves and there is plenty of floor space to play or watch television.

The narrow streets with traditional pubs, craft shops and art galleries are all within walking distance and freshly caught fish can be bought at the harbour. Fishing trips, pilot gig racing, crabbing contests and the excitement of Appledore Regatta (early August) are fun for all the family and the local indoor swimming pool makes a pleasant change from the beach. Younger children will love The Milky Way or The BIG Sheep Adventure Parks and Westward Ho! with it's traditional seaside attractions will appeal to guests of all ages. The Tarka Trail is perfect for cyclists or walkers and golfers have a choice of three courses nearby.

Due to limited headroom, Bedroom 3 is only suitable for a child under 5 years of age.

Guests can unload outside the property and parking is available on The Quay or in two car parks nearby.

Accommodation: Ground Floor: Lounge. Kitchen/Diner. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bathroom with bath, shower and washbasin. Separate WC. Second Floor: Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bedroom 3 with single bed.
