Dating back to the 17th century, Tight Corner Cottage is a thatched cottage in the heart of Petrockstowe, just twelve miles from Dartmoor. Deceptively spacious with original cob walls, low beams throughout and stylish décor, Tight Corner Cottage is absolutely charming. The attractive lounge, with woodburner and original bread oven, is beautifully furnished and overlooks a pretty garden. Both bedrooms are delightful and the master bedroom has a television, together with an en-suite cloakroom innovatively created in the eaves. In addition to a small lawned area shared with neighbouring cottages to the front of Tight Corner Cottage, guests also have exclusive use of a large, fully enclosed garden just 50 yards away. The garden has a lawn, patio furniture, barbecue and useful storage shed. A wicker hamper and blanket are provided enabling guests to pack a picnic lunch or supper.

The friendly village pub, The Laurels Inn, hosts a variety of social events throughout the year and Hallwood Farm nearby offers an excellent choice of home grown produce.

Nearest Coastline: Bideford Quay, the beaches of Saunton Sands and Croyde Bay.

Tourist Attractions: Traffic free cycling on the Tarka Trail, fishing in the Rivers Taw and Exe. Take in the magnificent views of Exmoor and Dartmoor either on foot or on horseback.
