You get a tantalising glimpse of the sea before descending into the beautiful valley of Crockwood Farm. No longer a working farm, it has a tranquil country setting where you are free to wander through the acres of grounds which include a pine forest, stream and a lake. The top meadow is perfect for children, with a specially built play area with swings, slide and rope ladders to entertain all ages, as well as space for ball games and kite flying. From here, you have a beautiful view of the coastline and the energetic can walk to the sea.

Thistledown Cottage has been cleverly converted from one of the old barns; this lovely semi-detached cottage has been finished to the same exceptional high quality that is the hallmark of these lovely properties. The lounge has floor to ceiling windows so that you can enjoy the view of the rolling countryside. There is a private patio and terraced garden area with a barbecue to the rear of the cottage.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Bude and Widemouth Bay.

Tourist Attractions: The Milky Way, The Big Sheep and the cobbled streets of Clovelly. There are lifeguard patrolled beaches at Bude with surfing tuition available and canoeing on Bude Canal.
