Situated in the grounds of Place Court, once the former home of Sir Walter Raleigh, The Tithe Barn has been converted into a unique and comfortable, detached home surrounded by lawns, woodland and a stream. Designed and furnished to a high standard throughout with original beams, stone floors, cob walls and an impressive woodburner, The Tithe Barn is ideal for families and couples. The spacious kitchen with a Rangemaster oven and the adjacent dining room both overlook the gardens, and doors from the lounge lead onto a large patio with level lawn, perfect for spending long, summer days and nights relaxing or dining in peaceful surroundings. In cooler weather and winter evenings, the warmth of the woodburner creates a cosy ambience where guests can enjoy Sky television channels or a varied selection of CD’s and DVD’s. The tastefully furnished bedrooms and the galleried landing with comfortable armchairs and a small library all overlook the gardens, and a bedroom with en-suite facilities on the ground floor makes The Tithe Barn suitable for guests with limited mobility.

	The rolling hills of Exmoor and the coastal walks stretching along the impressive Jurassic coastline both have breathtaking scenery and Exmouth, with a sandy beach, family attractions, shops and restaurants is just a short drive away. For energetic days out, Crealy Adventure Park, Woodlands and Escot Park with acres of gardens and a fascinating maze are well worth a visit. The city of Exeter with its Cathedral and The Quay, a riverside venue with a cycle path, museums, restaurants, craft shops, live music, canoes and pedaloes, has something for all the family!
