Slapton lies midway between Kingsbridge and Dartmouth and is a half-mile inland from the famous Slapton Sands. Narrow streets meander around thatched cottages, past two Devon pubs offering good food, a village shop and a church. The Stable is an attractive barn conversion, built in reverse level style to take advantage of the lovely views from the living rooms on the first floor. There are views down the valley from the kitchen and both the spacious kitchen and lounge have high raftered ceilings. At the front of the property there is a shared, paved courtyard with dry-stone walled flowerbeds and a patio with garden furniture.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Slapton, Blackpool Sands, Salcombe and the beautiful coastal town of Dartmouth.

Tourist Attractions: Slapton Leys Nature Reserve and Field Centre; Slapton Ley is the largest natural lake in the South West. The National Trust properties of Buckland Abbey and Cotehele. Sharpham Vineyard, The River Dart Country Park, Woodlands Adventure Park and Pennywell Farm. Dartmoor offers an amazing diversity of leisure activities such as hiking, climbing, bird watching, walking and horse riding.
