The vibrant farming village of Winkleigh is conveniently located between Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks and is just an hour’s drive from the superb beaches on the North Devon coast. The village is renowned for its excellent local cider production, which can be sampled at the King's Arms, a beautiful thatched pub-restaurant serving traditional food and local ales.

The Shippen is a well-designed and impressive barn conversion adjacent to The Parlour in the grounds of Gerrydown Farm, just outside the village. Both cottages may be booked individually or together, for larger groups of up to ten people. The spacious accommodation, including an en suite shower room off the master bedroom, as well as a family bathroom and another shower room, makes this an ideal holiday home for six. The farmhouse-style kitchen/diner looks out over the extensive lawned garden and seating area, which is partially enclosed by trees and stone walls.

Guests can indulge in a range of beauty treatments during their stay at Gerrydown, and special pamper weekend packages are available on request. (Book treatments direct with the owner, a professional beauty therapist).
