This attractive barn conversion is in a peaceful rural
setting in the hamlet of Bowling Green, a short drive from the beautiful
beaches of St Austell Bay. Thoughtfully converted, The Old Stables and
The Hayloft are within the owners
thirteen acre smallholding which is home to horses, goats and chickens, and
guests are welcome to explore. The owner’s farmhouse is behind the cottages.
The Old Stables is a comfortable, ground floor cottage
with an open plan living area and a patio to the front and side. The cottage
borders the field where friendly ponies graze and their water trough, next
to the patio, allows the occasional close encounter!
A detached utility room houses the freezers and a shared
washer/dryer with ample space for the storage of bikes / surfboards.
These charming properties are ideally situated on The
Eden Trail. The trail can be explored on foot, bicycle or horse as it
meanders through heathland, past woodland and lakes towards The Eden
Project, a leisurely forty minutes walk. The village of Bugle is just a mile
away, with a grocery shop and a pub, for more choice the market town of St
Austell is five miles drive.
Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Carlyon Bay, Par
and Porthpean. Charlestown harbour and beach. |
