The historic market town of Wiveliscombe is situated on the edge of the stunning Exmoor National Park. This unique detached log cabin nestles in its very own woodland area, just half a mile from the town centre, in a secluded location where the only neighbours are the birds and a few inquisitive rabbits. The cabin benefits from full heating and a woodburner which makes it wonderfully warm and cosy throughout the colder months and on a balmy summer evening the veranda is a perfect place to relax. The Old Quarry is approached via a private, gated drive and the grounds are fenced. There is a gazebo with a picnic table, benches and a stone built barbecue. A separate entrance to the cabin has a ramp for those with mobility difficulties.

Nearest Coastline: Watchet Harbour and the beaches of Burnham-on-Sea and Minehead.

Tourist Attractions: Exmoor Ales Brewery, Cleeve Abbey, Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wells Cathedral. Exmoor National Park, the Quantock and Mendip Hills, Somerset Levels and Moors. Fishing at Clatworthy Reservoir. Wiveliscombe has a community outdoor swimming pool, which is usually open from May to September.
