The small village of Boyton is close to the Cornwall and Devon border and four miles north of Launceston. Aptly named, the cottage was the original dairy and milking parlour for the farm and is now a comfortable, attractive holiday home. No longer a working farm, the owner has a smallholding, which includes horses; next door there is a working farm where the farmer tends mostly sheep. The single storey cottage forms part of a horseshoe that includes the owner's home, overlooking a courtyard with raised fishpond. On the other side of the cottage is a large lawned area, occasionally used by the owner, with a private seating area and picnic table and a number of outdoor games.

Steps lead up to the front porch and a stable door opens into the light and modern kitchen. Patio doors open onto the courtyard from the spacious lounge/diner, which has all the comforts of home.

The owner will welcome you with a homemade cream tea so you can relax and start planning your holiday! Enjoy enchanting woodland walks around the village or visit Launceston with its castle, museum and steam railway. The Tamar Otter Park with nature trail, lakes and gift shop and the Eden Project are all within an hours drive. Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor National Park, with standing stones, granite tors and clapper bridges are both within easy reach. For beach lovers, the resort town of Bude is a short drive away with the popular, sandy surfing beaches of Summerleaze and Crooklets plus a selection of shops, restaurants and entertainment. The Countryman Inn is only two miles away and serves good food, so enjoy a night or two away from the cooking!

Dogs must be well controlled due to nearby livestock. 

Accommodation: Ground Floor: Lounge/Diner with double convertible sofa. Kitchen. Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Bathroom with bath, shower, WC and washbasin.

Facilities: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Refrigerator, Washing Machine, Barbecue, Parking, Groceries may be ordered in advance, Babysitter (by arrangement), Colour Television, DVD Player, Payphone(300yards) Shop(4miles) Inn/Pub(2miles) Full Central Heating. Electricity & Heating inclusive high season, Heating Supplement £20 per week out of season. Duvets provided. Bed Linen & Towels inclusive. Dogs £30 per week.
