The Old Cider Barn is situated in the quiet village
of Wookey at the foot of the Mendip Hills. Not to be confused with
neighbouring Wookey Hole, two miles away, the village is an ideal base
for exploring the varied landscapes of this beautiful area. With its
stunning limestone gorges and caves, the wetlands of the Somerset Levels
and the spectacular northern coastline, a visit to this beautiful area
will not disappoint.
Designed and furnished to a high standard throughout,
this charming detached holiday home is light and spacious. The handmade
wooden staircase and a selection of paintings by local artists all add
to the ambience of the cottage. Guests can enjoy a barbecue in the
small, enclosed pebbled courtyard.
The cosy 16th century Ring O’ Bells pub is just a stone’s throw from the
cottage, is child-friendly and serves home cooked traditional food. |
