Picturesque 'Mouzel', as it is pronounced, is one of Cornwall's most enchanting villages. The narrow, twisting streets and stone-built cottages crowd right down to the snug little harbour, where the ebbing tide reveals a sandy beach. The Mill House is a detached, 18th century, Grade II listed granite and slate building of historical importance. Ideally situated, in the heart of the village, only yards from the harbour, shops, restaurants and pubs. In the lounge comfortable leather seating and an open fire ensure cosy winter evenings. Upstairs, the attractive main bedroom has traditional low windows, exposed beams and sloping ceilings.

There is a small garage and terrace, for guests use, which are reached from the side of the property. From Mousehole there is plenty to see and do without driving. There is easy access to the coastal path and Lamorna, one of Cornwall's loveliest coves, is a six mile round trip, with many more sandy beaches and cliff-top walks just a short drive away. Locally there is sea fishing, sailing and riding. Worth visiting are the outdoor, cliff top Minack Theatre, Penzance, Land’s End and St Ives. All the family will enjoy the Eden Project, the National Trust properties and gardens of Trengwainton and St Michael's Mount, the magical island, which is accessed by foot at low tide or ferryboat.
