Edington is a small, rural village situated between Glastonbury and Bridgwater and is an excellent base from which to explore this historic and beautiful part of England. On the edge of the Polden Hills and Somerset Levels, the landscape is perfect for cycling and walking. There is also easy access to many beauty spots including, Cheddar Gorge, Wookey Hole Caves, Glastonbury Tor, The Quantocks and Mendips and the cities of Bath and Wells. The coast at Burnham-on-Sea is within half an hours drive. The Granary is situated in the grounds of the owner's house and has a delightful private garden. The cottage is ideal for a couple but an extra single bed makes it suitable for two friends.

Patio doors open onto the garden with steps down to the lawn and a path leading to a small patio. The kitchen is compact, however with a choice of great local pubs serving good food, you may not have the desire to cook. Attached to the cottage is a storage room, which you are welcome to use for walking boots and bicycles.

For days out the choice is varied. Shop until you drop in nearby Clarks Village, see the lions at Longleat Safari Park or enjoy a visit to the Fleet Air Arm Museum. At nearby Shapwick, enjoy the Nature Reserve or travel back in time to prehistoric Somerset at the Peat Moors Visitor Centre.

Care is needed on the stairs as they are steep with narrow steps. The cottage is therefore not suitable for parties with babies, children under 10 or guests with limited mobility.
