In an idyllic setting within the Exmoor National Park and less than two miles from the delightful, rural town of Dulverton, The Granary is one of a small group of cottages that overlook the scenic Barle Valley. The valley is home to a beautiful herd of Exmoor red deer, as well as a wide variety of birdlife including woodpeckers, owls and buzzards.

This lovely, contemporary, three-storey property has a private garden and a small, south-facing patio accessed from the twin bedroom. The Granary is reached via a gently sloping, gated driveway, the bottom of which is shared with the cottage next door. A wooden walkway crosses from the drive, through a stable door and into the bright, open plan living area with a woodburner. There are three attractive bedrooms with the upstairs bedroom having beautiful views to the valley beyond. Numerous walks can be enjoyed from the cottage, including one to Winsford Hill where Exmoor ponies roam and views are far reaching to Dunkery and Dartmoor. Dulverton has interesting shops, tearooms, pubs and restaurants with an excellent selection of local produce.

Nearest Coastline: The harbours at Lynton and Lymouth and the beach at Minehead.

Tourist Attractions: Exmoor Pony Centre, Tarr Steps with pleasant walks along the banks of the River Barle. Water sports at Wimbleball Lake. Walking and nature spotting on Exmoor and the Doone Valley.

Due to the unfenced drops in the garden the property is not suitable for very young children. Some reversing is necessary either up, or down, the driveway.

Accommodation: First Floor: Open Plan Lounge/Kitchen/Diner. Second Floor: Bedroom 1 with king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath, hand shower, WC and washbasin. Ground Floor: Bedroom 2 with king-size bed. Bedroom 3 with twin beds. Shower Room with shower, WC and washbasin.

Facilities: Electric oven & hob, Microwave, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Parking (some reversing is necessary along the driveway), Television, DVD Player Payphone(2miles) Shop(2miles) Inn/Pub(2miles) Sea(20miles), Full Central Heating; Electricity & Heating inclusive high season, Heating Supplement £30 per week out of season. Woodburner fuel starter pack provided then purchase locally. Duvets provided. Bed Linen & Towels inclusive. Dogs £30 per week, one well-behaved dog only.
