The Grain Store is a unique and charming property set in a
picturesque, rural landscape. One of five exclusive barn conversions
this original, listed grain store offers high standard, contemporary
accommodation with that ‘something extra special.’ Reached by a
small flight of wooden steps the interior is light and airy,
stylishly furnished with vaulted ceilings and far reaching
countryside views. (Please be aware of low beams). The cottage
benefits from a private carport and a seating area in the adjacent
communal field, seldom used by others. Situated close to the border
of Devon and Cornwall, the location is excellent for exploring both
counties with the lovely beaches of the south coast, including
Whitsand Bay, approximately 12 miles. There are five golf courses in
the vicinity, the most famous being St Mellion Golf & Country Club,
where you can enjoy the golf and leisure facilities with a daily
membership. Plymouth offers shops, theatres, the historic Hoe and
Barbican, the National Marine Aquarium and river trips along the
Tamar River to Cotehele, with its beautiful National Trust house and
garden. Close by is the estuary village of Cargreen with a popular
pub and restaurant overlooking the water. The narrow streets of Looe
and Polperro have interesting shops, cafés and pubs to enjoy along
with scenic boat or fishing trips from the harbour. The famous Eden
Project and Heligan Gardens are both within easy reach. |
