Bere Alston is a lively village with a pub and its own railway station, set in an unspoilt peninsular of deep wooded valleys and farmland between the rivers Tamar and Tavy. Within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park and the historic market town of Tavistock, The Cobbles is an ideal choice for those seeking a peaceful break in a beautiful rural location.

This family-sized cottage is attached to the main farmhouse on a working livestock farm just outside the village. The bright and spacious kitchen/diner opens onto a walled, cobbled patio with a lawned area and parking space. In the attractively furnished lounge a woodburner provides extra warmth and atmosphere in the colder months. Upstairs, children can amuse themselves in the recreation area outside the triple bedroom where there is a television and some beanbags.

Nearest Coastline: The estuary at Bere Ferrers. Further afield, Torpoint and Plymouth. The beaches at Whitsand Bay and Cawsand.

Tourist Attractions: The National Trust properties at Buckland Abbey and Cotehele. Morwellham Quay, Buckfast Butterfly and Otter Sanctuary. Numerous activities on Dartmoor, including hiking, cycling, bird watching, walking and horse riding. Take a trip on the Torpoint ferry across to Cornwall.

A further short flight of stairs leading to the landing/recreation area and Bedroom 2 with three single beds. There is no hanging space in Bedroom 2.
