The Coach House is an attractive, 17th century, detached cottage, situated in the grounds of the Old Vicarage where the owners reside. Very much a family friendly cottage, you are welcome to share the large gardens and enjoy the grass tennis court (tennis balls and racquets available), swings, sand pit and play equipment. Inside, the cottage is cosy and comfortable.

The lounge/diner has wooden floors and a woodburner with views out to a private, gated garden with table and chairs. Upstairs, the small twin room is ideal for children, with a selection of books, games and toys and the pretty double bedroom has views across the fields. The cottage is an ideal base from which to tour Devon and Cornwall, with wonderful walking and pony trekking on Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor. Bude's wide, sweeping sands and resort amenities are also within an easy drive. The nearby 700 acre Roadford Lake offers cycle routes and bridleways suitable for all ages, an angling and watersports centre with sailing and windsurfing instruction, fly fishing for trout, bird watching hides and a restaurant and gift shop. The historic town of Launceston about eight miles away has a castle and a variety of shops to explore. There are numerous beautiful National Trust gardens and houses to visit including Lanhydrock, Castle Drogo, Cotehele, Buckland Abbey and Lydford Gorge. Further afield are The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project.
