The Cider Barn
Yarley is a small hamlet
close to the beautiful cathedral city of Wells, surrounded by stunning
countryside. The nearby Mendip Hills, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty,
and the Somerset Levels offer excellent opportunities for outdoor sports and
leisure activities such as walking, climbing, abseiling and horse riding.
The Cider Barn is an attractive, character cottage, attached to the owners’
home, with superb views of the Mendip Hills. Three steps lead up to the
front door, into the kitchen and through to the cosy lounge/diner, which has
its own rustic charm enhanced by wooden floors, stone-faced walls and a
traditional cast iron electric fire. The Cider Barn has a pretty bedroom,
open to the stairs, with windows on three sides and wonderful views. Patio
doors open from the lounge onto a small, south facing seating area with
bistro table and chairs. At the end of the garden, which is occasionally
shared with the owner, is a public footpath leading up into the hills and
the surrounding countryside. |

Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare.
Tourist Attractions: Wells Cathedral, Bishop’s
