The picturesque creek side village of Noss Mayo lies on the southern bank of the Yealm estuary. This magical region of South Devon offers unrivalled walking opportunities on one of the most stunning stretches of the South West Coast Path.

The Barn is an attractive detached house perched on the hillside on the edge of the village. On the upper level, the bright and spacious lounge has windows on three sides with views over the rooftops towards the estuary. The entrance on the mid level opens into a homely kitchen/diner, full of character with exposed beams and a range cooker set into the chimneybreast. Sliding doors lead onto a balcony, where guests can relax and enjoy a sundowner or two, and the woodburner in the dining area adds a cosy ambience during the cooler months. Downstairs are the bedrooms, as well as a luxury bathroom with sauna, and a small gym for fitness fans.

The garden features a patio area leading onto a sloping lawn, as well as a charming thatched gazebo, ideal for outdoor merrymaking. There is space on the drive for a small boat trailer; boats can be launched in the village at high tide.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Stoke, Wembury, Bovisand, Mothecombe and Bigbury on Sea.

Tourist Attractions: The historical City of Plymouth, National Marine Aquarium, the National Trust’s Saltram House, Buckland Abbey and Cotehele. Bird watching and walking the South West Coast Path. Woodlands Family Theme Park.

A small apartment (with its own entrance) on the lower ground floor is retained for occasional family use.
