Tanglewood is a detached property, bordered by 30 acres of National Trust woodlands, and enjoying lovely views across the River Dart to the historic port of Dartmouth. Situated at the end of a quiet lane, steps lead up to the cottage, which is adjacent to the owner's home, with garaging underneath and room for a small boat or trailer. The cottage is spacious and furnished with natural materials and attractive wall hangings; a traditional weaved willow screen separates the bedroom from the lounge. Patio doors open onto a small seating area at the back of the property; stone steps climb the hillside garden to a patio with barbecue and continue higher up to a secluded spot with a table and chairs. The riverside village of Kingswear is very picturesque with magnificent views and beautiful scenery. Tanglewood is in the perfect location for a relaxing holiday, leave the car and explore by foot, rail, bus or ferry!

You can join the Dart Valley Trail from the cottage, which meanders through Hoodown Woods and onto Greenway, the beautiful gardens and former home of Agatha Christie. At Dittisham you take the ferry to Dartmouth and explore the cobbled streets brimming with shops, restaurants and pubs or visit The Britannia Royal Naval College, castle and museum. The owner is happy to transport you to the start of local walks and the National Trust gardens at nearby Coleton Fishacre.
