Doors from the kitchen lead to a patio area where guests can relax and watch the most magnificent sunsets in the evening. For larger parties, Tamar View can be booked with Water’s Edge nearby.

The maritime city of Plymouth has plenty to offer, with many attractions within walking distance or a short drive from Tamar View. Children and adults alike will enjoy the beaches, swimming pools, indoor leisure facilities, outdoor adventure parks and the amazing National Marine Aquarium.

The historic Barbican, Plymouth Hoe, Museum and Art Gallery are fascinating, the Theatre Royal and Plymouth Pavilions offer shows and celebrity performances throughout the year, and the indoor shopping centre at Drakes Circus is most impressive!

Leisure attractions nearby include skiing, skating, golfing, tennis, sailing and various water sports, and boat trips including a Naval Harbour Cruise and deep sea fishing. Mount Edgcumbe House and Country Park, Buckland Abbey and Pennywell Farm are well worth visiting. The ancient, oak woodland at Kit Hill is ideal for walkers and birdwatchers, with terrific views across to the Eddystone Lighthouse, Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor.
