On the edge of Exmoor, surrounded by beautiful countryside
and walks, the hamlet of Kentisbury Ford is equidistant to Lynton, Lynmouth,
Ilfracombe and Barnstaple, all within an easy ten-mile drive. Swallow's Nest
and Pipistrelle Cottage are adjoining barn conversions situated in the
owner's grounds. Both have private patios with garden furniture and
barbecues, overlooking a shared lawn and with far reaching views to Exmoor,
only a mile away. Designed to a high standard the cottages have open plan
living areas including comfortable living rooms with striking blue and white
seating. All rooms have attractive beamed ceilings and both cottages have
wooden staircases. Swallow's Nest has a lovely bedroom, open to the stairs
and features an ornate bed and matching bedside cabinets. North Devon has
many interesting places to visit. The sandy and surfing beaches of Saunton,
Woolacombe and Croyde are twelve miles away with Combe Martin beach only
three miles away. |

From the cottages there are numerous footpaths to explore. Walk
to the National Trust owned Arlington Court, an intriguing Regency
house with extensive gardens, home to Jacob sheep and red deer.
Young families will enjoy a visit to Exmoor Zoo or the Combe Martin
Wildlife and Dinosaur theme park with thrilling rides and life-size
moving dinosaurs! Exmoor offers an amazing diversity of leisure
activities such as hiking, climbing, bird watching, walking, horse
riding and golf.
