Stunningly beautiful, Dartmoor National Park is a magical mix of wooded valleys, open moorland, granite tors, rivers and waterfalls. The area offers an amazing diversity of leisure activities such as walking, riding, hiking, climbing, golf and bird watching.

For those seeking peace and tranquillity, with easy access to some fabulous walks, then Stable Cottage and Cherry Cottage are an excellent choice. Holewell Farm is on the western side of Dartmoor National Park, about a mile outside the village of Walkhampton, and within a five minute walk of open moorland. This small farm sits in a wooded valley close to the river Walkham and is home to horses, chickens and ducks.

Stable Cottage is a conversion of the hayloft above the stables and offers compact accommodation – just right for two. There is an open plan living area, all on one level, with two steps up to a galleried area with a double bed. Stable Cottage is not overlooked and offers total privacy with its own outside seating area.

Yelverton is just three miles away with a variety of shops and pubs; the ancient stannary town of Tavistock, with its pannier market, is within seven miles.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Wembury and Bovisand Bay.
