In the little hamlet of Stidson on the edge of Dartmoor is Snuggle Cottage; this detached property is the perfect romantic hideaway. Snuggle Cottage is a petite, single storey barn conversion in the grounds of the owner's house. The bedroom is prettily furnished and the cosy living area has a pull out dining table and chairs and comfortable seating. Outside there is a quiet decked area with table, chairs and a built-in barbecue. You are welcome to visit the horses in the owner’s small stable yard where free-range chickens wander. The peaceful, rural location is close to the rugged tors of Dartmoor and the traditional village of South Brent, which has a good selection of pubs and shops.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Bigbury on Sea, Thurlestone and Blackpool Sands.

Tourist Attractions: The National Trust properties of Buckland Abbey and Cotehele, Sharpham Vineyard, The River Dart Country Park. Nearby Totnes has a museum, an ancient Norman castle and scenic river boat trips to Dartmouth.
