Situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Britain's first Natural World Heritage Site, Sea Cottage is an excellent base from which to explore the magnificent Jurassic Coast and the stunning East Devon countryside. Just a stones throw from the beach, Sea Cottage is an attractive, brightly coloured house with incredible sea views from almost every room. Arranged over three floors, the property is spacious and welcoming, combining traditional furnishings and décor with a sparkling new bathroom. Open the patio doors from the lounge onto a private patio, to experience the wonderful views and inhale the invigorating and bracing sea air. Three well worn and slightly uneven steps lead from the patio onto the beach and, whether the sea is calm and relaxing, or the waves are crashing against the pebbles, the atmosphere is mesmerising. Budleigh Salterton offers a variety of shops, restaurants, a museum and various leisure facilities throughout the year including a riding school, croquet and cricket along with literary, music and arts festivals between July and September.

Experience the dramatic, rugged scenery from the South West Coast Path towards Ladram Bay and Sidmouth onto Beer and Seaton beyond. Woodbury Golf Course, Otterton Mill, the fascinating gardens at Bicton Park, Cadhay and Escot Park are all nearby. Crealy Adventure Park, Pecorama Miniature Railway and Seaton Tramway are also great fun for all the family.
