Rowdens is a stylish, ground floor property located in a quiet area of Torquay. This spacious studio apartment is well designed to divide the living and sleeping areas and there is a small dressing room for your clothes. The kitchen has everything you may need for self-catering, but as Torquay has so many restaurants from all around the world, eating out is part of the fun. To the front of the apartment, a pretty patio area has a barbecue with table and chairs and beyond this is a good sized parking area. A short, level walk will take you to the sea front, Torre Abbey Gardens, The Riviera Leisure Centre and the train station. The Drum Inn at Cockington, with its lovely gardens and friendly atmosphere, is within walking distance. Torquay's varied selection of shops are within a fifteen minute stroll along the promenade and on your way you will pass the Princess Theatre, which has some very good shows all year round. On the far side of the harbour is the Living Coasts attraction, where you can see penguins, sea birds and seals at close quarters. Rowdens is an ideal holiday home for younger people looking for lovely beaches and good nightlife or for the older visitor wanting a relaxing break with easy access to good facilities and public transport.
