This lovely stone built barn can be found down a country lane in a peaceful Cornish hamlet. There is a sheltered, sunny patio with a picnic table at the front of the property and a lawn to the rear. Partly fenced off from the garden is a meadow and lake where you are welcome to wander or sit and watch the wildlife. The striking open-plan living area, which is accessed from the external stone steps or through the ground floor entrance, is on the top floor of the barn, under the eaves. Wooden rafters, whitewashed walls, exposed stone and deep window sills retain the character of the original building. The kitchen has an island unit with a second sink and a Sandringham cooker with double oven and gas hob.

	There is a large dining table for family meals and in the lounge comfortable sofas are arranged around the woodburner. There are four good size bedrooms, each with its own en-suite facilities. The west of Cornwall has a wonderful selection of beaches and holiday attractions, ranging from theme parks, National Trust properties and gardens to unrivalled coastal paths and boat trips. The beautiful beaches at St Ives provide an impressive three mile stretch of golden sands at low tide and the town is home to many local artists, the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth's home with displays of her work. Land’s End, The Lizard peninsula and St Michael’s Mount are all well worth a visit. A day trip by helicopter from Penzance may prove to be a highlight of your holiday. Note: Non-Smokers Only.
