Roseland
Roseland is ideally situated for exploring the southerly part of Cornwall.
Attractions close by include the Eden Project, Flambards Theme Park, St
Ives, with its Tate Gallery and the National Maritime Museum. Further
exploration of this beautiful coastline will take you to St Michaels Mount,
the Lizard and Roseland Peninsulas and the Helford River. For a change why
not leave the car at Perranwell Station and take the train to Falmouth or
Truro. Roseland is a converted, single storey barn; the open plan living
area has a pine dining table, comfortable sofas and a woodburner. There are
four steps up to the pretty bedrooms and bathroom. Outside is a patio and
lawned garden and, by prior arrangement, children can play in one of the
owner's fields. The owner lives opposite Roseland and runs a livery stable.
The property is set within five acres of lovely countryside and fields,
which are bordered by bridleways and byways. For keen cyclists a designated
trail from nearby Devoran will take you on a traffic-free route to Portreath
on the north coast; bicycles can be hired nearby if you cannot bring your
own. There is plenty of barn storage on the farm for bicycles, wet suits and
surfboards. |
