and a half miles from Hartland Quay. This warm and cosy detached property,
traditionally furnished in pine, is nestled in the garden opposite the
owner’s house. The cottage has its own private garden area, bordered by a
high hedge and colourful roses. Those wishing to escape the hustle and
bustle of city life will love this delightful holiday retreat, where the
peace and tranquillity are tangible. The Hartland peninsular, set against
the spectacular Atlantic coastline, is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
– unspoilt, with stunning scenery, including Lundy Island, famous for its
puffins.
Nearest Coastline: The fishing village of
Clovelly. The beaches of Saunton, Putsborough and Croyde.
Tourist Attractions: Hartland Abbey, The Big
Sheep, South West Coast Path. Further afield are the market towns of
Barnstaple and Bideford, with boat trips to Lundy Island.
