Roofers Retreat is a detached property at Inny Vale in Davidstow, located
between the impressive Bodmin Moor and the spectacular North Cornwall
coastline. Designed to a very high standard, in peaceful surroundings and
with a tennis court on site, the property is ideal for couples, families and
guests with limited mobility wishing to explore this popular area of
Cornwall. The décor throughout is attractive and varied with pastel linens,
brightly coloured accessories and plush leather sofas, one of which converts
into a comfortable double bed. Many items have been thoughtfully provided
for guests’ enjoyment and convenience including touch sensitive bedside
lamps, a DVD/CD player, Freeview channels and tennis equipment.
There is an open lawn to the front of Roofers Retreat and an
enclosed, private patio to the rear, which overlooks fields and the River
Inny, creating a safe and secure area for children. |

With garden furniture and a barbecue, it is an ideal setting for sunbathing,
relaxing and dining. For a real treat, why not order and collect an
excellent meal from The Wilsey Down pub just two miles away!
Davidstow is surrounded by stunning coastal and moorland scenery within easy
driving distance.
There’s Bodmin Moor with its rugged landscape and excellent trout fishing at
the Crowdy Reservoir, or the beaches at Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay.
The Toy Museum and castle at Tintagel, the legendary birthplace of King
Arthur, and the Heritage Coast at Boscastle are all intriguing, as is the
British Cycling Museum in Camelford. There are several golf courses and a
well-established riding stables nearby. The popular Camel Trail is easily
accessible or, for the more adventurous, there’s micro light flying at the
Moorland Flying Club! For a real taste of the Westcountry, try some famous
Davidstow Cheddar Cheese from the local creamery, along with a glass of
regional wine from the Camel Valley vineyard.
