The peaceful conservation
village of Hatch Beauchamp is situated in beautiful, rolling,
farmland in the heart of Somerset, between Taunton and Ilminster.
The central location is perfect to explore the stunning landscape of
Exmoor, the Quantocks and Blackdown Hills with the World Heritage
coastline within an hours drive.
Quist Cottage is a delightful,
semi-detached, period farmhouse situated at the end of a private
lane in the centre of the village, surrounded by green fields and
cider orchards. There is a large enclosed country garden with a
lawn, small patio and a wild flower garden. There is also a rustic
GAMES BARN (not heated) with
table tennis, dartboard, CD player, a fridge and secure storage for
bikes. Quist Cottage has been designed and furnished with
traditional family enjoyment in mind. The lovely kitchen/diner is
warm and welcoming with a woodburner, comfy seating and a large
farmhouse table. The lounge has a piano, which you are welcome to
play, a wooden chess set and a selection of books. Upstairs there
are three attractive bedrooms; the bunkroom has a video player and
is most suited to children. A short walk will take you to the
village pub, church, restaurant and a children's recreation ground. |

Nearest Coastline: Equidistant
between the beaches of North Somerset including Burnham-on-Sea, and the
beaches of Dorset including Lyme Regis and Charmouth.
Tourist Attractions: Wells
Cathedral, Bath Spa, Montacute House, Barrington Court Manor House,
Muchelney Abbey, East Lambrook Manor Gardens and Wellington Museum. Taunton
Racecourse and Somerset County Cricket Ground are nearby.
