Polrose Stable sits between Penrose and
Trerose and is a very attractive two-bedroom
cottage. Built on one level it may suit those less mobile. The cottage
shares a small courtyard with Penrose and a lovely, large, raised garden
with Trerose Loft. Stone steps lead up to the garden where there is plenty
of space for children to play and far-reaching views across the fields and
out to sea. Inside Polrose Stable is furnished and decorated to a very high
standard. Both bedrooms have views to the garden and the bathroom features a
jacuzzi bath with shower over. From the cottages you
can walk to Boscastle, but it is a steep return climb. Famous for its
ancient natural harbour complete with ‘blow hole’ Boscastle has a number of
good restaurants, Inns, shops, galleries and Witches Museum. Sandy beaches
include Trebarwith Strand, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven, Polzeath and
Bossiney Haven. ‘Must see’ attractions include the Eden Project, the Tate
Gallery at St Ives and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and at Tintagel visit
King Arthur’s Castle and St Nectans Glen. From the nearby coast path the
dramatic landscape and views are stunning.
