Set high on a hill and surrounded by wonderful countryside the Polrunny Farm Cottages enjoy an enviable position less than a ˝ mile from historic Boscastle and the dramatic North Cornwall coastline. Much of the surrounding coast and countryside are designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the location is perfect for couples, families walkers, beach lovers and photographers. Penrose Byre, Polrose Stable and Trerose Loft have recently been transformed into beautiful, high standard holiday homes, furnished and equipped with comfort and enjoyment in mind. With bright modern interiors, stylish kitchens and lovely colourful bedrooms the cottages will appeal to all ages. All three cottages have washing machines, tumble dryers, a clock/ radio/CD player, flat screen televisions, DVD players, travel cots and a selection of books and games. The cottages are in a courtyard setting, which includes the owner’s house. No longer a working farm the Polrunny Cottages offer an idyllic retreat - peaceful and relaxing.

Polrose Stable sits between Penrose and Trerose and is a very attractive two-bedroom cottage. Built on one level it may suit those less mobile. The cottage shares a small courtyard with Penrose and a lovely, large, raised garden with Trerose Loft. Stone steps lead up to the garden where there is plenty of space for children to play and far-reaching views across the fields and out to sea. Inside Polrose Stable is furnished and decorated to a very high standard. Both bedrooms have views to the garden and the bathroom features a jacuzzi bath with shower over.

From the cottages you can walk to Boscastle, but it is a steep return climb. Famous for its ancient natural harbour complete with ‘blow hole’ Boscastle has a number of good restaurants, Inns, shops, galleries and Witches Museum. Sandy beaches include Trebarwith Strand, Widemouth Bay, Crackington Haven, Polzeath and Bossiney Haven. ‘Must see’ attractions include the Eden Project, the Tate Gallery at St Ives and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, and at Tintagel visit King Arthur’s Castle and St Nectans Glen. From the nearby coast path the dramatic landscape and views are stunning.
