Plumtree Cottage is an attractive, peaceful and secluded chalet bungalow with a level, lawned garden situated adjacent to fields and protected heathland; the heathland, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, is rich in wildlife. Inside, Plumtree Cottage is traditionally furnished with an electric living flame fire in the lounge and French doors opening onto the garden. The ground floor has a double bedroom and en-suite bathroom, ideal for guests who cannot manage stairs. A second sitting room serves as a quiet reading area or a place for puzzles and a game of cards. East Dorset is rich in places of interest and entertainment for all ages. Poole, Bournemouth and Sandbanks boast some of the best beaches in the country.

	Poole has a large natural harbour with a bustling quay and Brownsea Island, a nature reserve, is also home to the Scout and Guide movement. There are ferries to Brownsea Island in the summer, and to Sandbanks and Studland most of the year. Kingston Lacy, a premier National Trust property, has magnificent rooms, famous paintings, formal gardens and 250 acres of parkland. In Wimborne you can visit the Minster, shop in one of the largest markets in the South of England, enjoy a wide range of fine restaurants and tearooms, or spend an evening at the Tivoli Theatre. The rivers Stour and Allen are well known for their excellent fishing. A visit to the New Forest makes a lovely day out. Note: Non-Smokers Only. Friday Changeover. Short Breaks not available.
