Facing a pretty, paved, character courtyard, Rose, White’s and Wisteria Cottages create a lovely, sheltered setting in which to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The courtyard is fully enclosed making this a safe environment for families with young children. Visitors of all ages will enjoy the Mediterranean style OUTDOOR HEATED SWIMMING POOL (May to September), complete with poolside tables and colourful sun shades, the GAMES ROOM and the acres of landscaped grounds have a children’s play area, which includes a large, enclosed trampoline. Situated between the historic, cathedral city of Exeter and the south coast resorts of Dawlish and Exmouth, this is an ideal location for an interesting holiday. Exeter, at the head of the river Exe, has traditional and modern shops, theatres, museums and places of historic interest as well as restaurants, pubs and clubs. In the surrounding area are Topsham, Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth and there are many BEAUTIFUL BEACHES within a short drive. Nearby are National Trust properties such as A La Rhonde, Castle Drogo, Knightshayes Court, Killerton House and also Powderham Castle, set in a deer park beside the river. White’s Cottage is a surprisingly spacious character cottage for two. The lounge has a wealth of beams and a brick, inglenook fireplace with woodburner, a deep, comfortable three-piece suite and finishing touches that are in keeping with the unique style of the property. There is a modern kitchen and glazed double doors lead from the lounge to the delightful dining room. French windows open from here onto an attractive patio area. The large, first floor bedroom has a high raftered ceiling and attractive furnishings.
