Owl Cottage is situated in a quiet, rural village just outside Launceston within a few miles of the Devon and Cornwall border, making it an ideal location to explore the North and South Coasts. This attractive semi-detached property offers excellent accommodation and facilities for couples or families and guests with limited mobility, including access for wheelchairs at the front door and onto a patio overlooking the landscaped garden. All rooms are light, spacious and tastefully decorated to a very high standard to create a lovely home from home. Owl Cottage features a blend of traditional and modern styles including a superb kitchen and dining area, beams and pine furniture, a gas woodburner and comfortable seating including a Chesterfield sofa. The perfect setting for relaxing with a good book, listening to a CD, watching a DVD or enjoying one of many Freeview television channels! Each bedroom is beautifully furnished in pine, with quality linens and luxurious throws. In addition to the main bathroom, there is a shower room with double shower adjacent to the twin-bedded room on the ground floor.

Doors from the dining area lead to a patio and an attractive, open plan garden with garden furniture and a barbecue. For day trips, beach towels, a travel rug and picnic basket are provided for guests' use during their stay. In and around Launceston there is a leisure centre with swimming pool, two 18 hole golf courses, a steam railway, castle ruins and a museum. The surrounding countryside and coastal areas are perfect for exploring by car or on foot and include Dartmoor, Bodmin Moor, Boscastle, Padstow, Port Isaac, or the beaches at Crackington Haven and Widemouth. Other attractions for a day trip include The Eden Project, The National Marine Aquarium and Lundy Island.
