Dawlish is a popular holiday destination on the South Devon coast with superb, award winning beaches and it is home to the famous black swans. Close to the city of Exeter, the seaside towns of Torbay and the beautiful expanse of Dartmoor National Park, the location offers a variety of places to visit to ensure a fun filled, family holiday.

Olde Barn Gardens is a spacious, semi-detached house, situated just off the main road between Starcross and Dawlish. The house is traditionally furnished with some modern twists; the lovely master bedroom has a flat screen television, a contemporary en-suite with massage shower and a balcony with far reaching views over fields to Haldon Hill. Steps lead down from the balcony to the colourful garden with patio and fishpond. From the kitchen there are steps down to the conservatory, overlooking the garden.

A scenic cycle path passes through Powderham Castle estate, along the estuary, into the Exeter Basin where you can enjoy some retail therapy in the city centre. Within a short walk there are two excellent pubs serving local fayre.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches of Dawlish Warren, Dawlish and Teignmouth.

Tourist Attractions: Dawlish Warren nature reserve and wild bird sanctuary, Powderham Castle, Shaldon Wildlife Trust, Haldon and Newton Abbot racecourses. At nearby Starcross you can take a ferry across the River Exe to Exmouth. The moorland landscape of Dartmoor and the cathedral city of Exeter. Walking on the South West Coast Path.
