Dating back to 1755, Mulberry Cottage is a former stable, which has been converted into a spacious, comfortable home. Morebath is a small, rural village on the edge of Exmoor National Park and a few miles from Bampton, famous for it’s wool trade in the 18th century. Even today, the owners of Mulberry Cottage still have sheep at Moor Farm, along with rabbits and a pony. With ten acres of rural countryside surrounding the cottage, it is not uncommon to see a variety of game birds and Roe Deer. Exmoor offers breathtaking scenery and is wonderful for walking or just enjoying the peace and quiet, perhaps with a summer picnic. For more energetic or enthusiastic ramblers, there are more challenging areas of this magnificent parkland. Mulberry Cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout and has many traditional features, including oak and slate floors, original beams and stone walls.

The spacious dining and kitchen area is light and bright, with plenty of room to enjoy meals or family fun and games. The lounge is comfortable with rich hues of bright blue and the bedrooms have softer pastel shades, all of which are striking against the natural, dark wood throughout the cottage. With so many places to explore including the historic 900 year old Castle at Tiverton, or the Stone Age Museum in Lynton, guests will be spoilt for choice! There’s Miss Piggyland, Rabbit World and the Indoor Jungle at North Devon Farm Park or a Fantasy Woodland and Maze at Escot Gardens. A scenic journey on The West Somerset Steam Railway is a fun day out, as is the Exmoor Falconry and Animal Farm. The popular beaches at Minehead and Dunster provide a pleasant change from the countryside for walking or sightseeing and Taunton, or Exeter with its magnificent Cathedral, both have an excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants.

A £50 refundable Security Deposit is payable if taking a dog.
Stair gates are provided. A Freezer is available for guests' use by arrangement with the owner.

Accommodation: Ground Floor: Open Plan Lounge/Kitchen/Diner. First Floor: Bedroom 1 with double bed. Bedroom 2 with twin beds. Shower room with shower, WC and washbasin.

Facilities: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Automatic Washing Machine, Highchair, Barbecue, Parking, Colour Television, DVD Player, Cot, Full Central Heating. Payphone(½mile) Shop(½mile) Bus(½mile)Train(16miles) Inn/Pub(2miles) Electricity & Heating inclusive high season, Heating Supplement £25 per week out of season. Duvets provided. Bed Linen & Towels inclusive. Dogs £20 per week, must be kept under careful control due to nearby livestock.
