This pretty, stone, detached cottage stands in its own garden, in the grounds of Stampas Farm. The farm has a market garden and fresh vegetables are available in season. Sheep graze in the adjacent fields and a stream passes nearby. Inside, the cottage has a pine kitchen with a slate floor and a lounge/diner with a stone fireplace complete with woodburner, whitewashed walls and exposed beams.

The nearest beach is just two miles away at Perran Bay; here the golden sands stretch for three miles and offer excellent swimming and surfing as well as the potential for award winning sandcastles! The coastal path has some breathtaking scenery and keen walkers can take a footpath from the farm to Holywell Bay. For a change of scene St Agnes and Newquay are close by. On the south coast, The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The National Maritime Museum, are all within easy driving distance.

Note: Mowhay Cottage is approached via an un-made road.
