Mill Stream Cottage and Lapford Mill House share a courtyard with the owner’s 19th century flour mill, complete with water wheel. The extensive grounds, occasionally shared with the owner, are bordered by meadowland, a pond and a leat, backed by open countryside. The single track Tarka Railway Line has a request stop at Lapford and from here you can take the train on scenic routes to Exeter and Barnstaple.

Sympathetically converted from former stables, this delightful, detached cottage dates back to 1887. Inside, the cottage has Devon slate tiled floors on the ground floor, a country style kitchen overlooking the garden and courtyard and attractive bedrooms with beams and vaulted ceilings.

Nearest Coastline: Equidistant between the beaches of Saunton Sands and Croyde in North Devon and Exmouth, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton to the south of the county.
