Lustleigh lies on Dartmoor's eastern fringe, where wooded hills and patchwork fields meet the open moor. This lovely village boasts a popular 15th century pub with garden, a shop, Post Office, tea room and a village green, surrounded by pretty thatched cottages and overlooked by the 13th century church. Lustleigh's great claim to fame is the Cleave, a craggy ravine of granite outcrops where walkers can enjoy amazing views of the moors or walk along the banks of the River Bovey. No wonder one of the entrances to the Cleave is called ‘Heaven’s Gate’.

Mill Barn is a short walk from the village centre, along a quiet lane where traffic seldom passes. Situated in the grounds of the owner's house, the property is detached and set into the hillside. Stone steps lead down to the front door and into the open-plan living rooms. Mill Barn is fresh and contemporary with a hint of the traditional; there is a woodburner and beamed ceilings.

Outside there is a private seating area with table and chairs overlooking the River Wray and the rural landscape. Within a short drive are the Becky Falls Woodland Park, the House of Marbles with glass blowing demonstrations and the Dartmoor towns of Bovey Tracey, Moretonhampstead and Chagford. For an informative and fun day out why not join the owner on a guided walking tour of the local area and Dartmoor (a charge applies). The spectacular South Devon towns of Dartmouth, Totnes, Salcombe and Torbay all within easy reach. Award winning beaches are just 12 miles away at Teignmouth and Shaldon.
