Exmouth, on the River Exe, is situated at the
western end of the World Heritage Jurassic Coast, which stretches
all the way to Dorset. Marina View is a stylish, second floor studio
apartment overlooking Exmouth Marina. This prestigious development
of apartments has a lift, allocated parking, a secure entry system
and is within level walking distance of the town centre a mile away,
as well as the esplanade and two miles of sandy beach. Exmouth town
centre has a good choice of shops and restaurants, an indoor market,
cinema and swimming pool. In the winter months, the Exe estuary,
renowned for its wildlife, is home to over 40,000 wading birds
including the iconic avocets. Guests staying at Marina View can
relax with a drink on the balcony and enjoy the nautical scenes
below, or take a short stroll along the walkway to one of the marina
pubs. For an early morning dip in the sea, the nearest cove is a two
minute walk away.
Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Exmouth,
Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth.
Tourist Attractions: Bicton Park Botanical
Gardens, the National Trust 'A La Ronde' House. Numerous boat trips
are available from Exmouth including the passenger ferry to
Starcross and guided birdwatching cruises. The cathedral city of
Exeter is excellent for shopping.
