Maple Lodge is a very attractive, detached property situated
in the small village of Goonhavern within two miles of the
glorious sandy beaches of Perranporth. Perranporth is a popular
family resort with miles of golden sands and offers a great
choice of restaurants, shops, pubs, golf and excellent cliff
walks with breathtaking scenery along the coastal path.
Goonhavern village boasts a pub and shop, both within walking
distance, and the magical ‘World in Miniature’, twelve acres of
beautiful gardens dotted with miniature famous landscapes.
Maple
Lodge is situated in the owner’s extensive grounds, which you
are free to enjoy in addition to an enclosed private patio and
lawned area. The grounds include lawns, woodlands and a
fishing
lake with an assortment of fish including carp (bring your own
rods). Enjoy a leisurely picnic by the edge of the lake watching
the wildlife. Inside, Maple Lodge is a lovely standard
throughout with pretty coordinated bedrooms, a comfortable and
homely lounge and a bright, modern kitchen. There is a small lawned area and patio
for your private use. |

The dramatic coastline of the North Cornwall is stunning with an amazing
variety of birdlife, beautiful beaches, coves, historic engine houses and
quaint villages to explore, such as Bolingey with its picturesque 17th
Century Inn. The sandy, secluded beach of Crantock is only three miles,
Newquay, famous for its surfing beaches and nightlife, is five miles and the
City of Truro, with its lovely cathedral and shops is about ten miles. The
Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan are a little further but well
worth the drive. For an action packed day visit Flambards, near Helston - a
great day out for all the family, whatever the weather.
