Lower Mulberry is reached via a sweeping drive, which wends its way through several acres of attractive lawned gardens. Trees, colourful shrubs and birdsong greet you as soon as you drive over the cattle grid into this peaceful retreat in the heart of Cornwall. Guests have the freedom to wander throughout the extensive grounds or explore the owners’ woodland, all maintained under the Natural England Environmental Stewardship Scheme, which promotes effective environmental land management. As a result, birds and other wildlife abound in this secure habitat. Children will have great fun fishing and paddling in the stream that runs alongside the garden and, as an added treat, guests can help themselves to the organically grown garden produce during their stay.

Adjoining the owners' home, this charming single storey barn conversion is furnished throughout in traditional Cornish country style, with attractive exposed stone walls and beams in the lounge. At the rear of the property is a paved patio leading to a spacious and secluded lawned garden surrounded by tall trees and bordered only by open fields and meadows which provide haylage for the owners' horses.

Nearest Coastline: Both the north and south coasts of Cornwall are within half an hours drive.

Tourist Attractions: The Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and other National Trust properties at Lanhydrock and Trerice. Walking or cycling the famous Camel Trail. The Camel Valley Vineyard at Nanstallon.
