Lower Carlane is a light and spacious ground floor apartment situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Slapton. Narrow streets meander around thatched cottages, past two Devon pubs offering good food, a village shop and a church. Lower Carlane is part of a large stone barn, which has been cleverly converted into two properties. The barn is built on a hillside in a pretty peaceful location and is a good choice for those wishing to enjoy the many lovely walks in the area. Outside there is a shared paved courtyard with dry-stone walled flowerbeds and Lower Carlane has its own patio with garden furniture.

Nearest Coastline: The beaches at Slapton, Blackpool Sands, Salcombe and the beautiful coastal town of Dartmouth.

Tourist Attractions: Slapton Leys Nature Reserve and Field Centre; Slapton Ley is the largest natural lake in the South West. The National Trust properties of Buckland Abbey and Cotehele. Sharpham Vineyard, The River Dart Country Park, Woodlands Adventure Park and Pennywell Farm. Hiking, climbing, bird watching, walking and horse riding on Dartmoor.
